The New Hampshire School Transportation Association is holding its annual school bus roadeo on June 4.

The 34th annual event is held for drivers of conventional and transit-style school buses and is open to all licensed commercial bus drivers in the state. Drivers will be tested on their knowledge of school bus lawas and rules via a written exam. They will also be tested on their ability to detect vehicle defects during a pre-trip inspection. Then, of course, there is the skills test behind the wheel.

The top four scores will receive awards, and a "Rookie of the Year" award will go to the highest score by a driver competing for the first time. The fleet with the highest combined score from its drivers will also be honored.
