The National School Transportation Association said that its members raised $2,100 in July for the Special Olympics.

Three high school graduates each won $1,000 scholarships from the Connecticut School Bus Operators Association.

The Pennsylvania School Bus Association awarded Dallas Krapf of family-owned and operated Krapf Bus Companies with the Bus Stops Here award for embodying the association's mission of providing programs, education and services to promote the ultimate in safe student transportation.

The National Association for Pupil Transportation reminded members today Sept. 1 is the deadline for early-bird registration for its 2010 conference held this fall in Portland, Ore.
