WARRENVILLE, Ill. – Navistar recently announced that Dennis Huffmon has been named vice president and general manager, IC Bus U.S. and Canada, and will lead the company’s school bus and commercial bus business, including financial performance, strategic planning, business development, sales, distribution and manufacturing.

dennis-huffmon-ic“I am excited about the opportunities in our bus business in North America and around the world,” said John McKinney, president of IC Bus. “Dennis has demonstrated that he has the vision, business knowledge and leadership skills needed for this important position. With talented leaders like Dennis on our team, I am confident we will continue our industry leadership in delivering the best buses in the marketplace.”

After an initial focus on strengthening the company’s base business, he was promoted to vice president of global sales and distribution for IC Bus.

In 2009, Huffmon was named vice president and general manager with responsibility for Navistar’s ancillary businesses, including Workhorse, the Navistar-Ford joint venture Blue Diamond Truck and Navistar’s eStar all-electric truck.
