Springfield Public Schools in Massachusetts has renewed its transportation contract with First Student for another five years beginning with the 2014-15 academic year this July.
The renewal will extend an already long-term partnership as Springfield Public Schools and First Student have worked together for the past 15 years. The contract includes the management and maintenance of a 250-bus fleet.
“We value our partnership with Springfield Public Schools,” said Ted Leclerc, First Student area general manager. “We thank the district for its continued trust in our services, and we look forward to being able to provide students with safe and reliable transportation for many years to come.”
