The Board of Education of the Memphis City Schools District will accept written proposals for transportation services for the District. The district is seeking responses to perform a part or all of the following services: (a) Regular Home-to-School transportation, (b) Special Needs Home-To-School transportation, (c) Specialized Exceptional Children transportation, (d) No Child Left Behind (NCLB) transportation, and (e) Supplemental transportation. Responses to a), b), and c) may also be submitted for all or any combination of the district’s four geographical regions: Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast. Awards will be based on four (4) year contracts, with the exception of the NCLB services. The NCLB services will be awarded on a one year basis, renewable for three additional one year terms.
The Request for Proposal will close on January 8, 2010 at 2 p.m.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on November 20, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM in Room #W112, Memphis City Schools, 2485 Union Ave., Memphis, TN, 38112. Attendance shall be limited to three (3) attendees per Respondent.
