Users of Androids, iPhones and other smart phones can now download an app that will keep them updated with the most current event information for the upcoming STN EXPO in Reno, Nev, July 23-27.

The app, which was published today by STN partner E-pro Direct, includes show alerts, hotel information, the conference schedule listed by day, trade show maps, and a list of exhibiting companies as well as registered attendees to assist in on-site networking. And speaking of networking, the app also features direct links STN's social media sites for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the new, proprietary STNSOCiAL.

Attendees are encouraged to use these all of these avenues to update their work associates on the latest happenings from Reno.

The app can be downloaded free of charge from a smart phone's application store by searching for the keywords "STN EXPO" and selecting "STN EXPO 11" from the search results. Last year, STN provided its first app for the 2010 STN EXPO titled "Capture Knowledge." This year's theme is "Putting the Pieces Together."

In related news, July 8 is the final day for online registration for the conference and trade show. Walk-up registration will be accepted on site at the Grand Sierra Resort starting July 23. Meanwhile, July 7 is the final day for online hotel registration.
