It’s like the “Shark Tank” of our industry,” attendee Heather Handschin commented during the Trade Show held on day four of last month’s national Transporting Students with Disabilities and Preschoolers Conference. Several fellow attendees entering the Trade Show with her expressed the same level of anticipation. For their part, the vendors were ready and eager to share their new offerings, flagship products or improved staples.

FRISCO, TEXAS — Several exhibitors displayed new products at the TSD Trade Show, including a redesigned low-floor school bus from Type-A body manufacturer Collins Bus that removes the need for a wheelchair lift and increases accessibility for all students.
Hundreds of student transporters congregated on the TSD Conference Trade Show Floor to network and discuss solutions for special needs and preschool populations.
The event on Monday drew 65 exhibitors from across North America. Attendees also included those from Saudi Arabia, Guam and American Samoa.

The TSD Trade Show opened Sunday night with a special New Orleans-themed event that gave 65 vendor companies and hundreds of conference attendees the opportunity to mingle before the full trade show on Monday.
Another national trade show has come and gone, with school bus manufacturers and suppliers headed to their respective corners of the country, but not before showing their wares to hundreds of student transporters in Columbus, Ohio.
