Bendix Tops $500,000 in 2017 Corporate Giving

ELYRIA, OH. – More than half a million dollars: That’s how much Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems contributed in 2017 through corporate grants and donations, employee sponsorships, and employee-driven efforts. The giving benefited nonprofits and community organizations across North America. Of the nearly $540,000 contributed, about $96,000 was generated through employee initiatives.

Calif. School Districts Take Advantage of Alt-Fuel Funding

As California chums the water with hundreds of millions of dollars in alternative fuel funds, a Sacramento school district will soon announce an RFP for electric and low-NOx school buses, and it will allow other area school districts to piggyback for increased group purchasing power.
