Thomas Built Buses Announces Passing of John Willard Thomas

John Willard Thomas, a grandson of Thomas Built Buses founder Perley A. Thomas and a former lead engineer, president, CEO and chairman for the school bus manufacturer, passed away Oct. 26 after a short illness. He was thought to be 90.

Alabama School Bus Inspection Expert Remembered

Greg Ray, supervisor of school bus maintenance at Mobile County Public Schools and retired supervisor of the Alabama school bus inspection program, passed away on Oct. 30 following a long fight with cancer. He was 65.
