Collins Bus customers are set to benefit from a new maintenance agreement parent company REV Group announced with Ryder SelectCare to delivery nationwide vehicle service.
REV Group now leverages more than 800 Ryder maintenance facilities and 5,900 technicians across the U.S. and Canada in addition to its existing network of dealer service centers and REV Technical Centers.
Ryder SelectCare provides Collins Bus and other REV Group customers with two options. They can access the same preventive maintenance programs utilized by large fleets to control costs and maximize uptime or on-demand maintenance service accessible directly from Ryder’s nationwide service centers.
Ryder claims its service centers deliver greater than 95 percent uptime on average for full-service lease and maintenance product lines.
“The REV/Ryder partnership creates an industry-leading service for bus customers that no one else in the industry can offer,” commented Tim O’Sullivan, CEO and president of REV Group, in a statement. “Coupled with our dealer network and REV Technical Centers, Ryder’s maintenance program now greatly expands our customers’ access to maintenance service, utilizing hundreds of Ryder service locations across the nation. The new partnership truly demonstrates the REV Group commitment to provide customers service before, during and after the sale.”
The partnership announced on Tuesday also extends to REV Group’s Champion, ElDorado, ENC, Federal, Goshen, Krystal, and World Trans brands.
