Jeffrey A. Dokho Appointed to Navistar Board of Directors

LISLE, Ill., – Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) today announced that Jeffrey A. Dokho has been named to its board of directors, effective immediately. Dokho, 42, replaces Dennis D. Williams, president of the United Auto Workers (UAW), who is retiring from the Navistar board after serving nearly 11 years as a director. Since 1993, one non-elected seat on the Navistar board has been filled by a person appointed by the UAW.

Diesel is the New Alternative Fuel

The dominance of diesel fuel has not waned in the school bus industry. Nearly 93 percent of all school buses purchased in the United States and Canada still operate on diesel fuel, despite a higher-than-ever focus on alternative fuel. New lower-emissions diesel engines gearing up for launch in just a few months are expected to further cement diesel’s position as the industry’s fuel of choice.
