Joe Annotti, who manages a comprehensive suite of grant tracking, writing and management services for consultant Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, presents a free webinar on Tuesday, June 20. He will share the latest information on the Volkswagen Settlement's Mitigation Trust Fund that is providing $2.7 billion in grant money to clean vehicle emissions. School buses stand to be a big winner. But Joe will also remind attendees of other emissions funding opportunities that remain, not the least of which is the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act.

EPA Budget in House Crosshairs But DERA Program Expands

The National School Transportation Association said the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act program, or DERA, is earmarked to receive a 20 percent increase in funding, this despite an overall reduction in funding to the U.S. EPA.

Winners of $50,000 in Anti-Bullying Grants Announced

BELTON, MO – The 2017 United Against Bullying (UAB) Grant Program closed on Friday, March 31st. The annual Grant received a total of 121 applications, up 23% from last year. A total of 35 school districts and community organizations have been selected to receive grant funding this year with awards ranging from $100 to $3500 each.

EPA Announces $11M in Funding for Clean Diesel Program

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the availability of $11 million funds for the Diesel Emission Reduction Program (DERA) to support projects aimed towards reducing emissions from the country’s existing fleet of older diesel engines.

More Propane School Buses Headed to Pennsylvania

Two rural school districts in Monroe County, Pennsylvania and a third suburban district outside of Philadelphia are splitting more than a half-million dollars in state alternative-fuel funds to purchase new propane school buses.
