She works for the Greenville County School System in South Carolina.
The 2018 NAPT National School Bus Safety Week Poster Winners were announced today. The overall winner was awarded to Shivangi Ojha, an eighth-grade student from Belton ISD in Texas, for her poster that she submitted for the School Bus Safety Poster Contest.
The recent sudden spike in deadly school bus stop fatalities may prompt more examination into what really happened in each dreadful case. Those efforts may also help lead to the development of new ways to improve student safety at school bus stop pickup/dropoff areas nationwide.
