| Georgia Drivers Capture National Special Needs Roadeo Crown |

Clayton County Public Schools bus drivers David O'Keeffe and Jacquelyn Turner won the 13th National Special Needs Team Safety Roadeo held in Orlando, Fla. The team, which won the Georgia state qualifying competition last month, tallied 957 points during the event on Saturday at the Orange County Public Schools' Pine Hills facility. All teams were scored on their ability to perform such items as a pre-trip inspection, proper care seat securement, wheelchair lift deployment, loading, and an emergency evacuation. Coming in second place was the team of Tammy Roberson and Tammy Labaro of Moravia Central School District in New York, who scored 937 points. Third place went to Tyrone Pickney and Thomas Orr of Jasper County Schools in South Carolina with 927 points.
