Vacationing in Reno
Reno and its outlying areas have plenty to offer in the form of entertainment and recreation. With 38 golf courses within 90 minutes drive of the Reno/Tahoe International Airport, Reno is a golfer’s paradise. You’ll find fabulous courses at Lake Tahoe, Carson City/Carson Valley, North Lake Tahoe, Reno/Sparks, and the Plumas Pines Area. So if you are a golfer, be sure to bring your clubs.
If gambling is your poison, Reno has it all! Blackjack, baccarat, keno, roulette, poker and craps are all available at more high-paying casinos than one can shake a stick at. The best “bets” are at, to name a few, the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, the Atlantis Casino Resort, Circus Circus, the Eldorado, Harrah’s, John Ascuaga’s Nugget, the Peppermill and the Silver Legacy.
Lake Tahoe
Beautiful Lake Tahoe is only 45 minutes away, and offers plenty of outdoor activities for the recreational enthusiast. You can take a relaxing cruise on its pristine waters, fish, golf at one of its 14 awesome courses, take a bike or horseback excursion through the mountains or simply sun yourself on the beach, Tahoe has it all!
