ArbiterSports and SchoolDude Announce Strategic Alliance

Companies join forces to integrate the process of scheduling games, facilities and transportation into one seamless experience

SANDY, Utah and CARY, N.C. — ArbiterSports and SchoolDude.com announced a premier strategic alliance to integrate the ArbiterGame scheduling solution and the SchoolDude facilities (FSDirect) and transportation (TripDirect) solutions into one seamless user experience.  ArbiterSports is the established leader in game management solutions and is part of the NCAA Spectrum. SchoolDude is the market leader in education enterprise asset management solutions for small to large institutions.

“Athletic Departments have to deal with a lot of chaos in the normal process of scheduling athletic events,” said Claire Roberts, CEO of ArbiterSports. “This development alliance will alleviate much of that chaos and prevent minor game scheduling details from turning into mountainous problems.”

Research shows that 60% of schools experience wasted time due to double data entry and double booking of facility and transportation resources for school events. With staff and budgets continuing to shrink, schools cannot afford these communication and coordination problems when scheduling events.

With the integration, Athletic Departments will be able to use ArbiterGame to schedule an athletic event, and through SchoolDude, schedule facilities, transportation and other service requests, without worrying about how the two systems communicate with each other. The integration will allow schools to:

  • Eliminate double data entry and double booking
  • Easily share event calendars, resources and assets across departments
  • Improve communication and event coordination across the district
  • Efficiently manage facility requests and event schedules online
  • Easily schedule vehicles and driver assignments online

“We want to integrate the two worlds so that Athletic Directors and their staff don’t have to worry about doing things differently or relearning a new system,” said Kent Hudson, CEO and Co‐Founder of SchoolDude. “By tying our two systems together, we are able to eliminate a large portion of the redundant effort that is currently taking place and make the overall process more efficient.”

The companies anticipate that this integration will be completed by the spring of 2013 and move into beta testing through the end of the year before being broadly available.
