ATR Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification of its World Class Remanufacturing Plant

Authorized Transmission Remanufacturing Inc. (ATR), a remanufacturer of fleet transmissions thru out the US and Canada, has successfully completed its ISO 9001:2008 Certification process of its world-class remanufacturing plant in Mundelein, Ill.

ISO 9001:2008 is the standard for not only quality management systems, but management systems in general. It helps all kinds of organizations to succeed through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.

 

ATR is extremely appreciative of its team members for their hard work and dedication in earning this award. Deanna Kuempel, vice president of business operations said: “Our team’s commitment to documented processes set remanufacturing standards, continuous improvements, corrective actions and the root cause failure analysis is the key to our success.”

Deanna gives much of the credit to Jennifer Brezinski, ISO supervisor at ATR, who led the process.
