Auto Safety House Forms Long-Term Relationship with Local ‘Arizone Be a Leader Foundation’

PHOENIX – Auto Safety House LLC (ASH) announced today that they have committed to become the exclusive bus transportation sponsor for the Be a Leader Foundation’s “Taking Steps Towards College Success Walk-a-Thon.”

“We are honored to be a part of the Be a Leader Foundation’s annual Walk-a-Thon event and look forward to providing continued support for years to come. Auto Safety House has been supporting education in Arizona since 1958, through the sales and support of school buses used by every school district to transport students to and from school and other related events. Our sponsorship commitment with the Be a Leader Foundation (BALF) demonstrates our commitment to education and our desire to help every Arizona student become college bound, focused and prepared. We are excited that BALF has agreed to allow us to provide the funding needed to financially support the school districts and their students to participate in the upcoming Taking Steps Towards College Success Walk-a-Thon event.” stated Rudy Garcia, Auto Safety House vice president of sales and marketing.

Melissa B. Trujillo, president, CEO and co-founder of BALF states, “The Be A Leader Foundation is fortunate to have partnered with Auto Safety House (ASH). They have been providing services and support to Arizona school districts for over 50 years, enabling districts to provide safe and reliable bus transportation for generations of students. They are now expanding their commitment to help the children of Arizona through their transportation sponsorship which will enable them to attend The Taking Steps Towards College Success Walkathon, a unique and progressive event promoting higher education.”

The Be A Leader Foundation designs programs that provide a positive learning environment and a college focused mentality for each participant to develop their high school and college educational plan (4 plus 4 plan). They work directly with middle school and high school students throughout Arizona to engage them into active development of their self esteem, leadership skills, and long term preparation of their 4 plus 4 plan. Ultimate success is achieved through a long-term relationship and stewardship of their educational evolution from middle school into high school, culminating with active participation at the university level and ultimately a college degree.
