IMMI announces Vice President of CAPE

Westfield, Ind. – Today IMMI, an industry leader in the design, testing and manufacturing of advanced safety systems for commercial vehicles, announced Tom Chezem as the Vice President of the Center for Advanced Product Evaluation (CAPE) on the IMMI campus.

Chezem joins CAPE from Daimler Bus of North America (Setra), where he served as Vice President of Sales. In his new position, he will be responsible for the management of the CAPE division while promoting and expanding the breadth of testing and product evaluation services available to customers.

“Moving forward, we are investing significant resources into the expansion of the CAPE facility and its testing capabilities,” CEO Larry Gray explained. “With this expansion, Tom will play an integral role in extending CAPE’s reach to new customers and industries throughout the U.S., as well as Europe. We’re very excited to have Tom on board.”

Chezem graduated with a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and has a master’s in Business Administration from Cornell University.
