SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Leonard Bus Sales announced today that Charlie Bruce, former Chief Operating Officer at First Student, was recently named as the new Director of Business Operations. In that role, Charlie will oversee the Human Resources Department, Strategic Project Management, and Business Development.

Charlie Bruce has worked in school transportation for over three decades years, holding various leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer for First Student and for Durham School Services.

Charlie has also served on the board for both the National School Transportation Association and New York School Bus Contractors Association. He is based out of the company’s Saratoga Springs, New York, facility and lives with his family in Latham, New York.
