Navistar Recognizes Its Top Suppliers

LISLE, Ill. – Navistar this week awarded 26 top-performing suppliers with its annual Diamond Supplier Award. Out of more than 1,200 suppliers, this elite group exceeded the performance expectations for quality, delivery, technology and cost.

“Among the hundreds of high-quality, high-performance suppliers we depend on to build our trucks, buses and engines, Diamond Suppliers are an elite group representing the best of the best,” said Phil Christman, Navistar senior vice president and Chief Procurement Officer.

From freight and engineering services to plastics, electronics, seats and castings, the Diamond Supplier Award recognizes suppliers from around the world. The latest group of Diamond Suppliers includes a diverse group of businesses—women- and minority-owned businesses, small and large companies from the Midwest and other areas of the United States, as well as global suppliers from Mexico, Taiwan, China and Canada.
