Pro-Vision Launches AI-Powered 360° Camera System to Improve Fleet Safety

The new solution delivers real-time AI-based pedestrian and vehicle detections, full 360° coverage, and seamless telematics integration.

BYRON CENTER Mich. — Pro-Vision, a leading provider of fleet safety solutions, today launched its Birdseye 360° AI System, an advanced
camera solution with 360° coverage and real-time AI detection for improved fleet safety.

Building on Pro-Vision’s proven 360° camera solution, the new system introduces AI-powered computer vision that detects hazards in real time and alerts drivers instantly, helping transform traditional camera systems into proactive safety tools.

The system combines up to six ultra-wide-angle cameras to create a stitched, top-down view of the vehicle’s surroundings. With the addition of AI, the system actively analyzes video feeds to detect and prioritize potential risks, delivering audible and visual alerts to drivers via the in-cab monitor alongside the relevant camera view.

The Birdseye 360° AI system introduces multiple detection types designed specifically for commercial trucks:

• Blind Side Vehicle Detection
Identifies vehicles in blind spots during lane.
Changes and merging maneuvers.
• Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection
Recognizes human forms all around the vehicle.
• Forward Collision Warning
Detects when speed and following distance create a collision risk.

The Birdseye 360° AI System integrates seamlessly with leading telematics and video management platforms, including Pro-Vision’s CloudConnect, enabling fleets to centralize safety data and video insights.

“Fleet operators need more than visibility. They need actionable intelligence,” said ProVision’s Director of Commercial Sales, Dan Strock. “With Birdseye 360° AI, we’re delivering a solution that not only shows drivers what’s around them but helps them understand and react to risks in real time. We also recognized the need to avoid siloed technology, which is why the video can be integrated into a unified video management or telematics platform.”
