Safety Vision Welcomes New Marketing, Sales Staff

In recent months Safety Vision, vendor of video surveillance products, has welcomed four new individuals to its Sales and Marketing Departments. Spurred by an uptick in sales, the company’s President and CEO Bruce Smith recently enacted an innovative approach to acquiring new talent. “We were seeking out new ways of selling. We wanted to innovate and then define approaches to solving mobile video surveillance issues,” said Smith. How does one go about achieving this? “It’s simple,” Smith said, “We hired those in America who are the brightest and most eager to contribute – new graduates.”

Colin Smith (no relation) was hired as Marketing Manager in September. Mr. Smith obtained a degree in Business Administration from Baylor University in 2011 and earned his Master of Public Administration from Texas State University in 2014.  Considering Safety Vision’s business relationships with public organizations, his knowledge of the public realm is establishing an informative and strategic approach to the company’s marketing efforts. New account executives include: Monica Marcos of the University of Texas – San Antonio, and Madison Nye and Ashley Breitenbuecher, both of Texas State University.  In the first 2 quarters of 2015, Safety Vision plans to hire at least two more new graduates.

As well, Randy Wise was promoted from within to become the company’s second Vice President of Sales. He now manages the new hires as well as other established account executives. “It’s been rewarding,” said Wise, “I have new personnel who are eager to learn and sell – they’re go-getters.” Other hires include Kelli Hibbert, who joined Safety Vision as the new Customer Service Specialist Manager, and Steven Vaught, who now manages Product Development

These recent hires and promotions correlate with the expansion of Safety Vision’s product line. The introduction of hybrid recording technology, new wireless backend solutions, and, most recently, the Prima Facie® body worn camera have set these new account executives up for a profitable 2015. “Mobile video surveillance continues to gain traction, most recently in the body worn cameras market,” said Bruce Smith, “we now have a winning solution.” Safety Vision also continues to be an Axis® Communications Solution Gold Partner.

Safety Vision’s expertise and knowledge are grounded in its long history which has provided a thorough understanding of the mobile applications of video technology. Safety Vision prides itself on its forward-thinking ideology, comprehensive solutions, extensive client list, and proven results. Safety Vision is headquartered in Houston, TX. www.safetyvision.com
