In response to the demands of the marketplace, Trans/Air and its partners are pleased to introduce the most recent addition to their full line of rooftop products, the TA-20 for Type A school bus applications. The TA-20 rooftop product line features rooftop units characterized by powerful cooling capacity as well as a distinctive aerodynamic design. The TA-20 product line is ideal to satisfy the needs of a variety of applications, including Type A school buses built on the new Ford Transit or on Ford and GM cut-a-way chassis.
Units feature an aluminum body encased by ultramodern, UV-protected ABS acrylic cover. Evaporator blowers can be oriented to support center aisle ducting or freeblow air distribution thru a specially designed panel for maximum air flow. The TA-20 is flexible and can be configured as a Tie-In with OEM dash air at 30K BTU/hr. For maximum performance, the unit can be installed separately from the OEM dash air, with a Trans/Air supplied mount kit and compressor, as a Super system rated at 45K BTU/hr. The TA-20 is available with optional heat, electronic controls, and extended warranties.
