C.E. White Names Former Trans Tech Bus President Daniels to Lead Engineering Efforts

The C.E. White Company announced that Dan Daniels will become the school bus seat manufacturer’s vice president of engineering and product development.

The news follows an announcement made last week by Trans Tech Bus that Daniels was leaving the company to relocate to the Midwest to join family. A C.E. White spokesman added that Daniels begins his new job in October.

Meanwhile, in a statement, C.E. White said Daniels will also transition into his new role over the next 120 days as he moves his responsibilities at Trans Tech to new President John Phraner. Daniels served as president of the small school bus manufacturer since 2007 and oversaw the company’s release of the eTrans all-electric school bus last year. He also worked with owners John Corr and Bart Marksohn to develop the Trans Tech Bus brand from the former U.S. Bus and to focus on new designs, quality and manufacturing efficiencies.

“They have built the Trans Tech brand into a solid, respected bus manufacturer with focus on quality and design,” said Tony Everett, president and CEO of C.E. White. “We are excited about this move. Dan will begin a new era in product development at C. E. White, and he will continue to enhance our market leadership in product design, development and professionalism.”
