Chris Hines Comes Aboard Zonar as Executive VP

Chris Hines has joined Zonar Systems as executive vice president, bringing with him more than 25 years of financial and technological experience in the transportation industry.

Hines will report to Zonar President and CEO Brett Brinton in Seattle, Wash., where he will oversee and solidify the company’s growing position within the commercial transportation space.

“Chris brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and success within the commercial transportation industry,” said Brinton. “We look forward to Chris’ vision and insight as we continue to grow and innovate new products that meet the needs of commercial transportation companies and private fleets.”

Prior to this, Hines held several leadership positions in commercial transportation. Most recently he served as president and COO of the Celadon Group and, before that, as president and CEO of Tripmaster Corporation (now Mix Telematics). Earlier in his career, Hines was president and CEO of Atipical Holdings, a business he founded, focusing on transportation finance and technology mergers and acquisitions.
