Daimler Trucks North America Announces New Director of PR, Communications

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), the parent company of Thomas Built Buses, appointed Dave Giroux as director, public relations and corporate communications.

In addition to DTNA’s other brands, which include Detroit Diesel, Freightliner and Western Star, Giroux will be ultimately responsible for all internal and external communications and media relations for Thomas.

In a statement, DTNA said Giroux’s position is a newly-created senior role in the company.

“We are pleased to welcome Dave Giroux, a proven innovative communicator, to our DTNA family,” added Martin Daum, president and chief executive officer of DTNA. “This strategic organizational placement strengthens our focus on exceptional communications with industry and national media, not only pertaining to our well-known truck brands, but also related to our global engineering, design, and manufacturing prowess.
