NAPT is now offering more than two dozen Professional Development Series (PDS) courses online to members who are looking for an affordable and convenient training option for their professional certification.
Through a partnership with School Training Solutions, the 26 online PDS courses are available for transportation directors, supervisors, specialists and instructors who are members of the association. NAPT offered its first online course in January and made available four additional courses in March.
The courses are developed in partnership with School Training Solutions, and there are four certified specialist certifications available online: Routing, Dispatch, Vehicle Maintenance, and Safety and Training.
The NAPT Professional Development Series is an education-based program that prepares pupil transportation professionals for daily tasks and professional advancement through classroom-type training. Courses range from financial management and operations/systems management, to leadership and special education.
