Tyler Named Sales, Marketing VP for ASV

Kent Tyler, the former president of Collins Bus Corporation, is now vice president over all sales and marketing efforts at Allied Services Vehicles, the company announced. Tyler had been serving as president of ASV’s bus division, which includes Collins Bus.

kent-tyler-asvKent TylerTyler was at Collins for more than 15 years, the last five as president. He then became president of E-ONE, an ASV product line of fire rescue vehicles. He then moved into his role as president of the entire bus division, which in addition to Collins Bus includes Champion, El Dorado, Federal Coach, Goshen and Krystal.

ASV said in a statement that Tyler will now lead all corporate sales and marketing as well as oversee business development and execute ASV’s strategic growth plan, that being increased market share for all brands throughout North America. He will also continue to lead ASV’s bus division while he make the transition.

“Our brands are recognized leaders in their respective markets and industries,” Tyler said. “But as ASV continues to grow, we must focus on strategic initiatives that will allow expansion to occur not only through our existing distribution channels, but also through corporate-wide alliances and initiatives.”

ASV added that Tyler will continue to be based in Orlando, Florida and will continue to lead the company’s bus division as he transitions into his new role.
