Recorded Webinar: Propane School Buses Stretch Tight Budgets

Every day, school districts must stretch tight budgets in today’s economy. But the decisions school district officials make in terms of selecting school buses have a profound effect on many critical issues: students’ well-being, taxpayer-supported district budgets, staffing and personnel, and even the quality of air that people in a community breathe.

This webinar focused on the economic benefits of propane autogas, a clean-operating, domestically produced alternative fuel. You’ll learn:

  • How propane school buses cost less to fuel, operate and service.
  • Why the propane school bus market has grown to more than 14,000 on today’s roads.
  • How more than 800 school districts across the nation are saving 20-50 percent on a cost per mile basis with propane school buses.
  • How to access grants and funding, including from the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust.

You’ll hear directly from Todd Mouw, the president of ROUSH CleanTech; Ryan Zic, a school bus sales director with over a decade of school bus experience; and a school district that made the transition to propane.
