Every day, school districts must stretch tight budgets in today’s economy. But the decisions school district officials make in terms of selecting school buses have a profound effect on many critical issues: students’ well-being, taxpayer-supported district budgets, staffing and personnel, and even the quality of air that people in a community breathe.
This webinar focused on the economic benefits of propane autogas, a clean-operating, domestically produced alternative fuel. You’ll learn:
- How propane school buses cost less to fuel, operate and service.
- Why the propane school bus market has grown to more than 14,000 on today’s roads.
- How more than 800 school districts across the nation are saving 20-50 percent on a cost per mile basis with propane school buses.
- How to access grants and funding, including from the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust.
You’ll hear directly from Todd Mouw, the president of ROUSH CleanTech; Ryan Zic, a school bus sales director with over a decade of school bus experience; and a school district that made the transition to propane.
