5-year-old Girl Allegedly Beaten on a School Bus in Georgia

Last month, a 5-year old girl was attacked by an older student while riding home on her school bus in Forsyth, Georgia, reported ajc.com.

The 12-year old student allegedly grabbed 5-year-old Aubrey Corley by her throat and told her to stop breathing. Corley also said the girl grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the bus wall, according to the post.

The Monroe County Sheriff office reportedly filed charges against the student and the district is investigating further. The article also stated that the district officials are interviewing the bus driver, sheriff’s office and watching the bus camera’s recorded video.

The video was described as torture by law enforcement members who viewed it, the post said.
