A man in Texas has been sentenced to 55 years after pleading guilty to beating a school bus driver with an industrial wrench, reported the Longview News Journal.
The school bus driver was dropping students off at a trailer park entrance on Memorial Day when the perpetrator boarded the bus after students were off. The driver assumed the man was a parent and ordered him to leave the bus. Instead of complying, the man struck the bus driver in the eye with a wrench.
