Nebraska Show Keynote on Keeping Bus Drivers Out of Trouble

The Nebraska School Transportation Association is presenting Nancy Blackwelder as its keynote speaker at the 2016 Summer Conference next month.

nancy blackwelderNancy BlackwelderA past-presenter at the STN EXPO produced by School Transportation News, Blackwelder is a former ssistant principal at both the elementary and high school levels and a former assistant director of transportation. She will present, “How Bus Drivers Get Into Trouble,” on June 3 in Kearney, Nebraska.

The one-day conference also features Matt Coatney, CDL program manager at the state DMV, who is scheduled to discuss upcoming regulatory changes of interest to school bus operators.

A representative of the Transportation Security Administration will also discuss the current terrorism environment worldwide and the need for student transporters to remain vigilant in terms of security operations and training.

The event also features a trade show.
