About 100 student transportation leaders and over 30 representatives of 15 sponsoring vendor companies at the third annual Transportation Director Summit boarded motorcoaches Saturday morning from the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Reno, to spend the day near picturesque Lake Tahoe.

The group reconvened at the Chateau Golf Course in Incline Village, to partake in day-long training and networking with world-class trainers. They discussed how to prepare for negotiations, use data to inform school boards and superintendents on the importance of funding transportation, and reframe outlooks on their current environments, to form strategic alliances and get what they want for their drivers and their budgets.
