STN EXPO: Hunting for Conference Info?

What does a reality TV star have to do with school transportation? Leave it to the STN EXPO to connect the dots for attendees.

Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda is filming its sixth season for Investigation Discovery, and the series’ namesake will appear in Reno this summer to talk about … his career as a school bus driver. Yes, following Kenda’s retirement from from Colorado Springs Police Department, where he solved 92 percent of homicide cases he was assigned to, he drove students with disabilities for the local Falcon School District 49.

Since, he’s gone on to tell his detective stories to viewers in 150 countries but he still is very fond of the yellow school bus. Register now through April 27 to not only secure your seat at Kenda’s general session but also save $200 with our Super Early Bird discount. And stay tuned for more information on this year’s conference sessions, which begin this year with in-depth training on July 23, as well as the STN EXPO trade show, the return of the Green Bus Summit on alternative fuel adoption and the a new Ride & Drive event.

Look for additional promotional material in the April issue of School Transportation News magazine. In the meantime, read more about Kenda.
