TSD Conference, STN EXPO Prizes Awarded at NAPT

School Transportation News provided NAPT Summit Trade Show attendees with chances to win all-expenses paid trips to the upcoming TSD Conference in March, as well as the STN EXPO next summer, by trying their luck at a bag toss game at the company’s booth.

School bus driver Helen Browning of Logan County Schools in Logan, West Virginia, earned enough entries to win the grand prize for TSD in Louisville, Kentucky, and the roundtrip airfare, free hotel stay and full conference registration that goes with it. Dan Shultz, transportation director at Southeast Polk Schools in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, won the similar grand prize for the STN EXPO in Reno, Nevada.

STN also awarded free registration to both conferences. Derek Graham, a past-president of NASDPTS and the state director of student transportation at the North Carolina Office of Public Instruction, is headed to TSD in March while Pam McDonald, the director of transportation at Orange Unified School District in Southern California, won free registration for STN EXPO.

Stay tuned for more updates on both conferences, including a full agenda at TSD and more details on the National Special Needs Team Safety Roadeo.
