ACC Climate Control Gets ISO Certification

Automotive Climate Control (dba. ACC Climate Control), of Elkhart, Indiana, is proud to announce their recent qualifications as an ISO 17025 accredited test lab. This certifies that ACC can perform a scope of accredited tests for all GSA KKK/AMD standards as required by current GSA and AMD organizations.

Additional tests not covered by this scope are available for the ambulance, fire rescue, school and commercial buses, Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks and other utility vehicle markets, covering FMVSS, SAE, TMC and other standards.

Testing includes:

1. Climatic testing in our environmental chamber will accommodate multiple vehicles up to 60 feet in length, 14 feet high, and 14 feet wide. Temperature control from -30°F to 140°F with precise humidity control (5% to 95% RH). This is one of the largest and most technologically advanced chambers in the Midwest. Chamber capabilities along with the data acquisition system allows for a variety of tests including but not limited to full range of mobile HVAC systems testing.

2. Crush testing for body structure and integrity.

3. Pull testing for seat belts and other structure integrity.

4. Vehicle charging system testing and analysis.

5. Vehicle insulation evaluation.

6. Flammability testing on material.

7. Road testing as well as fording and water ingression.

ACC conducts tests that are covered by the 17025 scope as well as many other test options for companies that do not require accredited documents. For information on testing capabilities contact ACC at 1-800-462-6322.
