Allied Specialty Vehicles Announces Completion of Thor Industries Bus Acquisition

ORLANDO, Fla. — Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) announced the completion of the previously disclosed acquisition of the bus division of Thor Industries, Inc.

The acquisition includes seven of the bus industry’s most prominent brands: Champion Bus Inc., General Coach America Inc., Goshen Coach Inc., El Dorado National California Inc., El Dorado National Kansas Inc., Krystal Coach and Federal Coach.

When combined with Collins Bus Corporation, these additional bus businesses position ASV as one of the largest producers of buses in North America, providing buses to the transit, shuttle, courtesy, luxury and school bus markets.
