Blue Bird Web Site Wins Ektron All-Star Award

FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Blue Bird Corporation’s web site, www.blue-bird.com, was recently honored with a 2008 Ektron All-Star Award as the best transportation site. The awards were presented in 24 categories from hundreds of submissions, which were judged by key Ektron executives on the criteria of site design, navigation, use of content and other web elements.

 

“The Blue Bird web site is intended to be a visually-pleasing, functional resource to the school bus industry,” said Ron Smith, director of marketing, Blue Bird Corporation. “We are very grateful to accept this award and believe that it validates the way our customers feel about our site.”

The web site was designed by Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions, based in Greenville, S.C. Ektron, located in Nashua, N.H., supplies web content development and management software. The 2008 Ektron All-Star awards received a record number of submissions. The 2008 Ektron Site of the Year was Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, www.ringling.com.
