CINCINNATI — First Student, Inc., the nation’s leader in student transportation, has added four student transportation contracts to provide service for the following public school districts:
- Union R-XI School District in Union, Mo. – A five-year agreement which includes the maintenance and operation of 30 district-owned vehicles, covering 25 daily routes.
- Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, Mo. – A one-year agreement to operate, manage and maintain a four-vehicle fleet, running four daily routes.
- Independent School District 625, St. Paul, Minn. – Renewal and expansion of the full-service contract including a fleet of 250 vehicles to cover 230 daily routes—an increase of 70 routes. All of the buses in the fleet are equipped with GPS tracking systems.
- Clinton School District in Clinton, Conn. – A four-year, full-service agreement for a fleet of 30 vehicles. First Student has ordered 10 new Type A buses to add to the fleet, and the entire fleet will be air conditioned. All full-size buses also will be equipped with digital cameras.
