Frost & Sullivan Names Verint Systems the 2010 North American IP Surveillance Software Company of the Year

Verint Honored by Analyst and Consultancy Firm for Innovation and Leadership

MELVILLE, N.Y., April 27, 2010 — Verint® Systems Inc. today announced that it has been named the “2010 North American IP Surveillance Software Company of the Year” by Frost & Sullivan, a leading global analyst and consultancy firm. The honor marks recognition for Verint Video Intelligence Solutions™ in the dynamic video security and surveillance market, and highlights its innovation and accomplishments in the areas of enhancing safety and security, improving operational effectiveness, and protecting people, property and assets with its world-class IP video technology solutions.

Frost & Sullivan named Verint its IP Surveillance Software Company of the Year recipient based on the company’s strength in the areas of growth strategy excellence, growth implementation excellence, degree of innovation with products and technologies, leadership in customer satisfaction and value, and leadership in market penetration.

Verint was honored with this award largely due to its acclaimed Nextiva IP Video portfolio. Nextiva serves as a single source for virtually every facet of video operations, from video viewing management and analytics software, to IP cameras, encoders, and network video recorders. Designed to enhance any video network, it streamlines management of large, geographically dispersed video operations and helps organizations realize the benefits of IP video leveraging their legacy video investments.

Verint Video Intelligence Solutions serves a wide range of industries including government, critical infrastructure and homeland security; airports, seaports and public transportation; and retail, banking, education and commercial enterprise.

“The total IP surveillance market—including IP surveillance management software, encoders, IP cameras and NVRs—is the fastest growing segment in the security industry,” states Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Dilip Sarangan. “Verint is one of the original companies in this market and has maintained a healthy market share with a strategic mix of innovation, effective communication and a comprehensive, best-in-class product portfolio.”

“Winning the 2010 North American IP Surveillance Software Company of the Year Award is an honor and testament to our commitment to delivering world-class IP video solutions, to the partners that help shape the reputation of our Nextiva IP Video Management solution and make it widely available across the markets we serve, and to the customers who partner with us to make it a strategic asset in their day-to-day business operations,” adds Elan Moriah, president, Verint Video Intelligence Solutions and Verint® Witness Actionable Solutions®.

Honors for Frost & Sullivan’s 2010 North American IP Surveillance Software Company of the Year Award will be presented by the firm as part of its 2010 Excellence in Industrial Technologies Awards Banquet taking place April 29 in San Antonio, Texas.
