Grote Appoints William Stone as Quality Director

New Leadership Reflects Grote’s Continuing Commitment to World-class Quality and Customer Satisfaction

MADISON, Ind., USA — Grote Industries, a world leader in high-performance LED lighting technology for the transportation industry, today announced that it has appointed William Stone to lead its existing quality management team from his new vantage point as quality director.

Stone has 27 years of experience in OEM and tier-one automotive manufacturing environments, including eight years in multi-site quality management roles. Stone also has significant expertise in lean manufacturing protocols, as well as ISO 9001, TS 16949, AS 9100 and ISO 14001 quality system and is a Six Sigma black belt.

“As we continue to expand our business globally, we will remain focused on cultivating and attracting talent that will bring the experience necessary to keep Grote out in front of the industry” Dominic Grote, president and chief operating officer, said. “Bill brings a diverse background and a broad and valuable range of experience to this new position.”

Stone’s career has included engagements with Eaton, Kelsey-Hayes, Ford and GM. He has also worked with Textron Fastening Systems and with Trans-Pro setting up quality systems throughout the US, Mexico and China.
