OKLAHOMA CITY – Hydrotex, a national manufacturer and distributor of high performance lubrication and fuel improver solutions, announced Jeff Porter has joined the company as division partner serving the agriculture, fleet, food processing, manufacturing and pupil transportation markets. His efforts will focus on the areas in and around central Oklahoma including the Oklahoma City Metro, Lawton, Stillwater and Enid.
Prior to joining Hydrotex, Porter’s career focused on consulting with industrial companies concentrating on revenue generation working with owners and C-level executives. Taking on a partnership role, he was able to help his customers produce significant increases in sales and profitability while optimizing sales and marketing programs. His industry experience includes packaged goods, oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing, technology, transportation and food service.
“I believe in building relationships with my customers,” said Porter. “I want to understand their business, issues and long-term objectives so that my recommendations are based on their needs, even if that recommendation sometimes doesn’t include my product or service. I would rather solve a problem and build the relationship than sell them a product just to make a sale. Long-term satisfied customers are my goal.”
As a Division Partner, Porter will counsel customers on reliability based — cost-efficient machinery and equipment maintenance programs using environmentally-sustainable solutions. In addition to the industry-standard focus on premier lubrication, reduced friction and reduced wear, Hydrotex solutions address biodegradability, recyclability, oxidation stability, reduced cost, worker health and application knowledge. Porter graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science and has volunteered with the American Red Cross and the United Way.
