Jim Daniel Named Location Manager of First Student Savannah

CINCINNATI — First Student, the nation’s leader in student transportation, recently selected Jim Daniel to manage its location in Savannah, Ga. Daniel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility’s operations including safety, maintenance and training for the Savannah Chatham County Public School system.

Daniel has extensive business and management experience. Prior to joining First Student, he owned and operated the Daniel Lumber Company. Daniel has also managed several other businesses in the Savannah area, including a courier company and a restaurant.

Daniel succeeds industry veteran Kerry Mayo, who was promoted to southeast area general manager at First Student.
