Mark McCollough Named Vice President, GM of Charging for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems

ELYRIA, Ohio — Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, the North American leader in the development and manufacture of leading-edge active safety, energy management, and braking solutions, today announced that Mark McCollough was named vice president and general manager for the Charging business.

McCollough, who had previously served as product line director for Air Treatment, will provide executive oversight for compressors, air treatment, dampers, engine air, and transmission management product lines. As vice president and general manager for Charging, McCollough will provide strategic and business team leadership; drive product business strategies as well as technology innovations by market segment; and develop manufacturing, purchasing sourcing, and pricing strategies.

McCollough joined Bendix in 2004 as the engineering manager for compressors. He was promoted to director of Air Treatment in 2008. Prior to working at Bendix, McCollough was engineering manager for EFD, a division of Nordson Corporation, based in East Providence, R.I. He held various engineering positions at Nordson Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and General Electric Aircraft Engines.

McCollough has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, also located in Cleveland.

McCollough and his family reside in Amherst, Ohio.
