New Product Cross-Reference at DelcoRemy.com

PENDLETON, Ind. — Remy International, Inc. has launched a new and improved online product cross-reference system that includes part numbers for all Delco Remy heavy-duty starter and alternator models ever produced. It also has the ability to cross a comprehensive list of competitive part numbers to Delco Remy models.

The new system was designed to be fast, accurate and easy to use. It offers a variety of replacement-model options, including upgrades. Special service notes are provided to ensure product installation ease. Delco Remy product literature, service parts lists and installation instructions are offered as links for additional customer support.

“Being an aftermarket leader means keeping a constant pulse on the needs of our customers,” stated Eric Bippus, senior vice president, aftermarket sales and marketing. “The introduction of this cross-reference is just the beginning of new and improved tools you will see coming from us in the months ahead.”

Remy recently announced a company-wide reorganization entitled “The Power of One” that consolidates its global aftermarket operations into a single-source, customer-driven supply channel for light-, medium- and heavy-duty rotating electrics. Bippus added, “Our goal is to deliver a best-in-class aftermarket portfolio of products featuring the latest technology and to provide the most advanced industry support.”

Delco Remy brand alternators and starters are the preferred choice for medium- and heavy-duty truck, bus and off-highway vehicle applications worldwide. “Along with the leading product innovation and performance,” Bippus continued, “we want to make sure our customers win with trusted, knowledgeable support.” For more information about Delco Remy products, visit the website at www.delcoremy.com.
