SANTA PAULA, Calif. — BendPak Inc. has tapped some of the automotive industry’s biggest names to appear in their now iconic “This Is My BendPak” magazine campaign. Beginning with Jay Leno in 2007, fan favorites like Ryan Friedlinghaus, Jesse James, and the late Boyd Coddington have been spotlighted in BendPak ads between the pages of some of the world’s most beloved automotive publications. Now, Bill Goldberg of Garage Mahal, Bull Run and professional wrestling fame is signed on to be the next face of BendPak.
Bill Goldberg and BendPak first forged a relationship in 2010 through the DIY Network garage makeover show Garage Mahal.
“When I met Bill he was really excited about BendPak / Ranger equipment,” said Marcus Graczyk, BendPak’s Marketing Manager. “While we were installing a two-post car lift for Car and Driver he asked a lot of insightful questions and was immediately able to recite specs and features on camera like he’d been working with our stuff for years. That’s when I knew he would be perfect for our campaign.”
The photo shoot for the new campaign took place in late February at Goldberg’s home garage in Southern California, where he now possesses six BendPak car lifts and other garage equipment. The ad will run in several popular automotive magazines in summer 2011.
Bill Goldberg also appears in a BendPak promotional video, which is expected to be displayed at trade shows and similar events over the course of the next year.
