PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J. — The only organization that focuses on the unique needs of marketing, sales and communications professionals within the transportation and logistics industries, the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA) announced the winners of its transportation awards at its Annual Conference, during an awards ceremony held at The Westin Diplomat on June 5, 2012 in Hollywood, Fla.
Recognized for his remarkable contributions in business development, Senior Vice President of BlueGrace Logistics, Eric Chambers, received the TMSA Transportation Sales Executive of the Year award. Chambers has over 20 years of experience in the industry.
“I was quite honored to receive this award. However, it really wasn’t me; it was my people that do the front line work,” said Chambers. “This award is truly a testament to our company and the people that make up BlueGrace Logistics. I just happened to win the award.”
Named as TMSA’s Transportation Marketing Executive of the Year, Patrick O’Neil, Director of Corporate Communications at Railinc Corporation, has over 15 years of communications leadership experience.
“It is humbling and exciting to receive this award,” said O’Neil. “There are a lot of strong brand names in our field and I think to be from a smaller company and be recognized among brands that are known around the world is exciting.”
“Eric and Patrick are very deserving of these recognitions and we are thrilled to have the benefit of their knowledge and expertise,” said TMSA President, David Hoppens. “They received these prestigious awards because of their ability to successfully lead commercial teams and implement transportation products and services that drive growth within their companies and our industry. Each winner well represents the membership of TMSA in their commitment to delivering quality work and innovation.”
