Transpar to Tackle School Transportation Issues at NAPT Conference

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The TransPar Group of Companies announced that representatives will be attending the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) 44th Annual Conference and Trade Show on Oct. 27-30 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown in Kansas City, Missouri.

The NAPT conference is recognized as the premier school transportation conference in the nation. This year’s program will inspire student transportation professionals at all levels to think differently, and take on common challenges in thoughtful, innovative ways.

“We look forward to meeting with many transportation professionals focused on improving their operations and pursuing professional development,” stated Tim Ammon, chief business development officer of TransPar Group of Companies. “We have been finding that many organizations may be able to identify there is a concern in their operation but are unsure how to fully assess the scope of the problem. More importantly, it is often difficult for them to design and oversee the implementation of solutions because of all the other demands on their time. We believe that our organization is uniquely capable of supporting analysis and change management of driver staffing issues, bus replacement, bell time changes, and other critical issues facing the industry.”

Ammon will be presenting at the conference sharing his transportation and logistics expertise with attendees. He will be presenting “On-Demand Services & Their Impact on Student Transportation” on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and co-presenting “Using Bell Times Studies to Maximize Routing Efficiency” on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 9:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

”We hope to provoke transportation managers to think about the future of service expectations and how on-demand services are likely to be very disruptive to them as programs evolve, to meet the changing demands of educational systems,” Ammon said. “We are also focused on helping districts identify both the analytical and practical aspects of bell change assessments with Keith Henry from Lee’s Summit Schools. Given the continuing focus on bell times as both an efficiency and service quality tool, we think this session will be very valuable for participants.”

Representatives from the TransPar Group of Companies will be available to discuss school transportation improvements and answer questions at NAPT Booth #138.
