The 22nd Transporting Students with Disabilities & Preschoolers (TSD) National Conference & Trade Show is heading to Frisco, Texas, and will be held March 8-13, 2013.
STN Media Group, which owns and operates TSD in addition to School Transportation News and the STN EXPO Conference & Trade Show, finalized the agreement in late April to host the conference at the Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco Conference Center and Spa.
The TSD room block offers attendees rates of $129 per night for two-room suites. The 16th Annual Special Needs Team Safety Roadeo will be held alongside the annual conference on March 9. STN was finalizing the Roadeo location at this writing.
The half-day trade show is scheduled for Monday, March 11, a day earlier in the schedule than in previous years. However, STN plans to open the trade show doors the evening of Sunday, March 10 for a special preview event.
At this writing, STN was also completing a new conference website.
STN acquired the TSD Conference in March from Roseann Scwhaderer, owner of Edupro Group. Schwaderer started the specialized training conference in 1991 and, since then, has served as the organizer. Under the purchase agreement, she will remain involved with planning the event through the end of 2013.
